In 2016 I successfully managed the global communication of the change of ownership of KraussMaffei to the Chinese enterprise ChemChina. Within the framework of the post-merger integration into the ChemChina Group from 2016 to 2018, I managed all communication and marketing activities worldwide in coordination with the respective individuals at the Chinese company.
Today I consult Chinese companies on establishing their market presence in Germany.
I traveled to China for the first time in 2006. Since then, I have regularly visited the country one to three times a year. I learned to appreciate the friendliness and helpfulness of the people and many valuable personal relationships grew until today.
What I particularly love about the Chinese mentality is the curiosity, willingness to learn, thirst for knowledge as well as the strength of implementation.

President Xi Jinping’s “One Belt, One Road” initiative reinforces the intercontinental trade and infrastructure networks between the People’s Republic of China and countries in Europe and opens expansion opportunities for Chinese companies.
My lecture covered what Chinese companies have to consider in order to be successful in Germany as well as how marketing and communication executives are able to get a better understanding of economic and cultural thinking as well as customer behavior in the German market.
